Under the Last FM Scrobbler settings there is a sliding bar to set the percentage of the track length to be scrobbled. Is this something that is possible to do on Zenses2?

yet in the scrobbled history, its only kept a history of the first 50?

doesn't this mean, after i finish scrobbling my 4444 tracks....if i put my device in again, its just gonna fetch all those 4444 tracks again, and maybe a few more (not including the 50 in the history ofcourse though)

I've had this player since June '08, nearly 26 months ago, and i listen to music on my player a lot more than on computer, so there is gonna be a hefty amount of plays to consider when i'm doing this.

I've read the FAQ's and everything but am still a bit confused on everything, most of all the whole having to pick a time to set your scrobble at, i really don't know what i'm doing. i haven't done any scrobbling yet with Zenses because i wanted to set this straight first before i attempt anything

In terms of how long i've had my lastfm account, i got it this May?

I think i've covered everything i considered necessary....if there is anymore info needed then i'll find Thanks a lot anybody that could help me would be really appreciated!

Edit: I ran debugger and it found all songs, but what i noticed, each song has play_count=0. Does it mean that player wont work with Zenses? It was on supported devices list, i am confused. Maybe counting is turned off?

Note that some MSC players, when put into MTP mode, will start working correctly with Zenses (such as the Cowon +2), though success has varied.

I don't know if other people had this problem, or there is another thread on it (if so, link me and I can read it instead).

Hadn't had this problem before, but it's been about a month since I used it. There were over 560 tracks and on Zenses, it said that they got scrobbled. Again, nothing showed up on the last.fm site though.

The date doesn't automatically set like the old java version used to. It seems to just pick a time and date at random as opposed to the last scrobble time.

The first time i ran Zenses2 it found every track i had ever played on the device so i told it to ignore all of those. Now it's never able to find any tracks to scrobble. it just says "loading..." in the corner for a while and then "0 unscrobbled tracks found"

The old version of Zenses is still able to find and scrobble my tracks. Am i doing something wrong?

oh also, strangely, as soon as it changes from "loading..." to "0 unscrobbled tracks found" a message pops up in the middle saying "scrobbled a total of 50 tracks!" even though i've never actually scrobbled anything with this version of Zenses, and if i go to Scrobbled History it shows a random 50 of those tracks it found the first time i ran the application (a section from the Bs albumwise - e.g. Blinking Lights and Other Revelations, Bleach, etc.)

Any ideas?

when you first start up the application the lower left corner says "Loading..." and then changes to "0 unscrobbled tracks found". this was my first source of confusion and had me stumped for a long time; i assumed that when it was "Loading..." it was searching my player for unscrobbled tracks and then didn't find any (the original zenzes begins searching automatically upon starting the application), when really it was just loading the application and "0 unscrobbled tracks" referred to tracks that had already been found the last time i used the application but i hadn't done anything with. this is a simple but important misunderstanding that could be remedied with some more descriptive language. instead of it going from "Loading..." to "X unscrobbled tracks found", it could go from "Loading..." to something like "X tracks were left unscrobbled last time you used Zenzes. Find your device and Fetch Tracks to find new unscrobbled tracks".

But, once i figured out that at this point you actually have to go to File>Find Devices then click Fetch Tracks, the problems still weren't over. Doing so changes the status to "Connecting to device and fetching track information..." and ultimately to "Device tracks collected and ready for scrobbling" except that no new unscrobbled tracks would appear. i now realize that there is just a very long strange delay at this point and if you wait long enough, the unscrobbled tracks do actually appear and the status changes to "X unscrobbled tracks found". i thought for a while you actually had to click Fetch Tracks one more time to get them to appear, which made no sense, but seemed to work. i guess clicking things like that just kept me busy for long enough for the tracks to actually show up. it would be better if "Device tracks collected and ready for scrobbling" had the amendment "Device tracks collected and ready for

Am I doing something wrong or is it some kind of bug? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've had this weird glitch 3 times; I connect my Zen, open Zenses, and find there are no tracks to scrobble. I reconnect and then I find about 6000 tracks to scrobble. All 3 times it was something in the 6000 range. I don't know how, because I couldn't have possibly listened so much tracks in between my scrobbles (1 week tops). What could it be? The total amount of tracks EVER played on the Zen?

edit: I just connected with the Zenses2 and I found 995 unscrobbled tracks, and that's not right. It also says they're from 2000. I've only had this Zen for 2 years. I don't think it even existed back then. Orrrrrrrrrr is the date just incorrect because I didn't change the settings in Zenses2?

On another note, before I get home and connect my Zen, I sometimes listen to Winamp before I scrobble, the tracks show up on my profile, and when I connect my Zen, I scrobble those tracks too. I read people here had a problem with that. I'm just saying I don't. Maybe it's an old problem you've guys sorted out already, I think I saw something in the FAQ about that. But still, there are recent posts of people who can't scrobble 'past' tracks.

any suggestions?

Is it possible to make a function that allow to delete the unscrobbled tracks from list? Because sometimes there are many tracks that i skipped and dont't listened.

I notice that you can't submit tracks more than 2 weeks into the past due to limitations with last.fm itself. With that in mind, would it be possible for the software to set the scrobble start time to: (last scrobble date) OR (2 weeks ago), whichever is the greater. Currently it sets itself to the last scrobble date, which is a fantastic improvement over the old zenses, but if I go away on holiday and scrobble tracks on my return they will fail to scrobble. What's more, tracks which are submitted with a date more than 2 weeks ago are dropped by last.fm, but zenses marks them as successfully submitted so they are effectively lost. Not the end of the world of course, but not the intended behaviour either.

Bear in mind that this version is still very buggy and incomplete, and it's probably going to stay that way; Zenses2 fixes most problems with this version, though some have stated that this version works better for their players. In either case, both do the same thing, and are relatively painless to use.

It would also be nice to be able to ignore just a set ammount of playcounts of a multiply unscrobbled track, as the playcount of a track often increases by 2 when keep it paused for several hours and then start playing it again, but i just want it to get scrobbled once.
