General•WAY too many tracks scrobbled + something of interest to devs

    Well, I just downloaded the newest version, but previously I've used 0.2. I wonder if anyone had these same problems, or if they might come back with the new version. I use 0.2, with my Zen V Plus 8 GB (on LastFM it says Zen Vision:M).

    I've had this weird glitch 3 times; I connect my Zen, open Zenses, and find there are no tracks to scrobble. I reconnect and then I find about 6000 tracks to scrobble. All 3 times it was something in the 6000 range. I don't know how, because I couldn't have possibly listened so much tracks in between my scrobbles (1 week tops). What could it be? The total amount of tracks EVER played on the Zen?

    edit: I just connected with the Zenses2 and I found 995 unscrobbled tracks, and that's not right. It also says they're from 2000. I've only had this Zen for 2 years. I don't think it even existed back then. Orrrrrrrrrr is the date just incorrect because I didn't change the settings in Zenses2?

    On another note, before I get home and connect my Zen, I sometimes listen to Winamp before I scrobble, the tracks show up on my profile, and when I connect my Zen, I scrobble those tracks too. I read people here had a problem with that. I'm just saying I don't. Maybe it's an old problem you've guys sorted out already, I think I saw something in the FAQ about that. But still, there are recent posts of people who can't scrobble 'past' tracks.

    The date it says there from is based on your Last.fm profile and not your MTP player (since MTP devices dont store the play count). If your seeing scrobbles in the year 2000, you've either never scrobbled to Last.fm or you havent authenticated Zenses2 with Last.fm yet.

    The issue only occurs if you try to scrobble from Zenses at a time that you have previously scrobbled via another method. If the scrobble times are the same as the ones used when you submitted via Winamp, Zenses will fail to scrobble.

    Should Zenses2 be showing more or less tracks? Confused about the issue your seeing here, sorry!

    I think the amount was too much. But Zenses 1 did that a few times too, I scrobbled 5000 tracks a few times. (ghehe)
