If you have problems you should do a little troubleshooting yourself. To do that, go to zenses installation directory (normally: C:/program files/zenses2 ) and double-click on run-debugger.bat file. That should open a console window and there should be some output coming, after it finishes it should just close. Go to c:/temp/ directory and open zenses.log file. You should at minimum see there, that zenses found your device ( WARN Debugger:33 - Found 1 device(s) ). If it doesn't find the device, check that you have it in MTP mode. It should also display <= 200 tracks found on your device. Check what is their play_count value - if it's 0 and you know that you've listened to this track it's bad and can suggest that your player doesn't expose the playcount over MTP (either it doesn't track the count at all. or tracks it only in its internal format). At the bottom you should get a list of tracks that zenses will recognise as scrobblable.
If you're a bit lost you can always describe your problem and send the file to zenses2@googlegroups.com - please, don't send there problems without zenses.log attached.
The Simple Instructions:
- Open the Zenses installation directory (normally `C:/Program Files/Zenses2` (under x64 this will be in `Program Files (x86)`)
- Double click on the `run-debugger.bat` file
- Browse to `C:/temp`
- Email `zenses.log` to zenses2@googlegroups.com and detail your issues!
